Personal Development and Spirituality Mysticism and Conscious Evolution
Personal development, spirituality, mysticism, conscious evolution, self-inquiry and awakening are your unique blueprint for connecting in community. Your experience ignites the School for Wonder learning process. Each of us bring a tapestry that informs our choices, and opens different doors into the heart of loving.Relationships of every kind are our primary teachers. When you School for Wonder, we deepen understanding of devotion as a means of dissolving fear, attachment, arrogance and rigidity. Learning to track your own thought patterns, release the stranglehold on possibilities, and soften your inward gaze is a beautiful dance we do together, sometimes without words. All spiritual traditions are welcome in our mentoring and retreat programs. The School for Wonder honors all walks of life, and diversity makes us stronger and more courageous as we learn to keep steady in the face of challenge. We use mirroring and scribing or recording to keep the focus on what is real for you. Whatever your orientation is, we support and encourage you to be the best person you can be, and realize the dreams that accelerate your spiritual growth and awakening. Here at the School for Wonder we like the term "lightening up" as we learn. We are continually evolving, ever expanding in the heart of joy. We explore all-embracing love for humanity, as a spiritual path that naturally expands our ways of thinking, regardless of background or experience. Having less gravity and seriousness about self-importance, while still making wise and healthy choices, means learning to laugh at our humanness. Together we let go of brittle old self-perceptions, and embrace each other as instruments of creation, learning on the journey to wholeness together. Learning to defy gravity makes us lighter on our feet, less prone to thinking of ourselves first limiting our affect on the greater good of all.
The Mystery of Personal Development

Personal development and spirituality can mean so many different things to different people. If your suitcase is packed and your cellphone is glued to your ear, we can help you find the right time to let go and learn while you relax and unwind. Here is an excerpt from the book Diamond in Your Pocket, by Gangaji Whatever can be forgotten will never deliver certitude. In an instant of true and sincere self-inquiry, what can neither be forgotten nor remembered reveals itself as who you are. All that is required is that you stop trying to find yourself in some definition. When you turn your attention toward the question, "Who am I?" perhaps you will see an entity that has your face and your body. But who is aware of that entity? Are you the object, or are you the awareness of the object? The object comes and goes. The parent, the child, the lover, the abandoned one, the enlightened one, the victorious one, the defeated one-- these identifications all come and go. The AWARENESS of these identifications is always present. The misidentification of yourself as some object in awareness leads to extreme pleasure or extreme pain and endless cycles of suffering. When you are willing to stop the misidentification and discover directly and completely that you are the awareness itself and not these impermanent definitions, the search for yourself in thought ends. When the question, "Who?" Is followed innocently, purely, all the way back to its source, there is a huge, astounding realization: there is no entity there at all! There is only the indefinable, boundless recognition of yourself as inseparable from anything else. You are free. You are whole. You are endless. There is no bottom to you, no boundary to you. Any idea about yourself appears in you and will disappear back into you. You are awareness, and awareness IS consciousness. Feel the relief of laying down the burden of defining yourself. Experience the actual non-reality of the burden. Experience the joy that is here. Rest in the endless peace of your true nature before any thought of "I" arises.
