Your ability to design your own life course and increase accurate self perception is your wonderful gift to share with the world. Here is what happened when I answered the call to school for wonder. Jesse White, School for Wonder Founder The School for Wonder was born on the night of August 17, 1987. The vision for the school came in dreams to me while camping in Rio Grande Gorge State Park near Pilar, New Mexico. The vivid dreams became the catalyst for contemplative mentoring, publications, a record label, event hosting, a retreat center and community building throughout the world. A second dream followed that night with audible instruction from a disembodied voice, saying, Now we're going to show you the Soul of Light. There were myriad strands of light, making random patterns in various dimensions. The patterns resembled the sun reflecting on the bottom of a swimming pool. 
The timing of the dream coincided with an event called The Harmonic Convergence, correlated with the Mayan Calendar, marking a planetary alignment within our solar system. Mayan scholar Jose Arguelles described this event poetically, the night before I had the dream, as a time when the stars were impregnating the earth, awakening humanity to cooperation, love and unity. The heart of personal development was predicted to take place in the coming 22-year cycle on earth.Since that night (22 years ago!) the School for Wonder began to define personal development in an organic style, unique to each participant's contribution. The first actual name coined for the school was Foolish Dreams. I had felt a calling to open a school since my first experiences in elementary school.
The school took up residence in a small studio in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1993. Sessions were based in contemplative mentoring and songwriting, to define personal development and balance in community. I began by integrating body work, therapeutic healing, spiritual traditions, music and creative encouragement. I developed meditation and coaching sessions for singer/songwriters, and quickly realized my own calling to encourage people from all walks of life. This school has a will of its own, and takes shape according to participant needs, the law of attraction and creative expression.

Questions were posed to me about personal development and how to be together under the same roof, creating and collaborating, without disturbing each other. The dream was filled with a vivid sense of what happens when groups are learning personal development in collaboration.
Personal development began for me with a focus on deepening inner awareness, Native American tradition, holistic healing, Rosen Method bodywork, Hakomi therapy, psychology and spirituality, meditation, hospice training and songwriting. I studied with over fifty alternative teachers in private workshops and courses.
